Campaign 4-Driscoll
We are Driscoll school parents, Town Meeting Members, Brookline voters, and concerned citizens, who wish to express our support for the 4-section Driscoll school project, and urge the Select Board to take steps to ensure the project is continued and that its Fall '22 opening not be delayed.
Fall 2019 Campaign
We've been working on getting Driscoll done all summer, as the School Committee's capital projects subcommittee has debated a long-term capital plan for schools in our Town.
Our goal for the fall is simple:
- The School Committee should vote to proceed with urgency on 4-section Driscoll (DONE! 9/26 unanimous SC vote),
- The Select Board needs to vote to set a date for a debt exclusion election for Driscoll (this is where we're at now), and
- We need to fund, run, and win the debt exclusion election (we've got this well underway!).
How can you help?
- Read the letter sent to Town Meeting Members Sept 17.
- Show up at the Select Board public hearing to urge an election date be set promptly!
- What
