The signature for the method java.util.Collections.reverseOrder() in the 1.2 prototype compiler is: ;>()Ljava/util/Comparator; ^^ these two adjacent colons do not look to be correct; I think this is a bug in the (retro-fitting?) compiler. For what it's worth, the signature of this method in the 1.0 prototype compiler was: ()Ljava/util/Comparator; No bug, but you also weren't trying to use bounds on the method in this release.
